HOTEL MARQUES DE PRADO AMENO The famous black poet Juan Francisco Manzano, served as slave to the Marquises of Prado Ameno, and gained his freedom thanks to the efforts of Domingo Del Monte and other prominent personalities of the time. Today, the hotel features 18 rooms; 3 suites and 15 standard rooms. Behind the massive doors, a large lobby and a central courtyard invite you to discover the history of the building, where fragments of mural paintings from different periods decorate the walls of galleries and rooms, while bits and pieces found during archaeological excavations have been left by, as recalling decorative details. The intimacy, peacefulness and the well preservation of the original arches and frescos, combined with the privacy and the freshness of the patio as well as the sobriety of its decoration, invites to rest in a cozy atmosphere. The Taberna ""El Molino"", a tavern with seating capacity for 70, opens its doors directly on O¿Reilly Street.
